MARS

mars2.jpg

We saw Mars yesterday, the small point on the picture, very small but a very clear orange light that we couldn’t miss. Mars is getting that close to the Eartch once every 60,000 years, at a distance of 55,758,006 km from center to center, that day was yesterday, August 27, 2003 at 9:51 GMT. Quite a magic moment, isn’t it?
